Rad takođe analizira specifične oblike stresa u call centrima, uključujući „Call Center Stress Syndrome“ i fenomen „Quiet Cracking“.

ABSTRACT

In modern working conditions, particularly in sectors with a high frequency of customer interactions such as service counters and call centers within power utility companies, employee stress has become an increasingly significant factor affecting not only individual mental health but also broader corporate security. This paper explores the relationship between employee stress and organizational safety, with a specific focus on the customer service center of the power utility sector. Based on relevant research in occupational psychology, workplace safety, and conflict management, the paper examines how daily emotional strain, frequent negative interactions with customers, and inadequate organizational support can lead to burnout, staff turnover, reduced efficiency, and threats to internal security systems. It also analyzes specific forms of stress in call centers, including „Call Center Stress Syndrome“ and the phenomenon of „Quiet Cracking.“ Through concrete examples from the power utility sector, recommendations for customer communication and conflict reduction techniques, as well as methods for strengthening operators’ psychological resilience, this paper offers an integrated approach to improving employees’ mental safety and enhancing organizational resilience.
